Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be a child star? It may seem like a great way to get a jump start on your Hollywood career but in some cases it’s ways more trouble than it’s worth. Today we’re going to talk about some of the strict rules these kids are expected to follow and we’ll explain why twins like Mary Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen and Dylan Sprouse and Cole Sprouse have such an advantage over their peers. Disney stars often have their own rules to follow and actress Bella Thorne once found herself in hot water with the company as a result. We’ll also talk about some of the surprising challenges Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint faced on the set of the Harry Potter franchise. Not to mention Millie Bobby Brown and her co-stars on Stranger Things set.
After learning about the Coogan Act and other protections in place for these actors what do you think about letting kids participate in the entertainment industry? In friends
Sorry Cole Sprouse was the only one I didn’t mean to them since he was in so little scenes
No only cole sprouse played Ben on friends because it was such a small role
Disney doesn't monitor Instagram accounts for their stars otherwise they wouldn't approve of Dove Camerons nipple pics she has on there
These kids are getting paid a THOUSAND TIMES MORE than the average adult making an honest living… how fair is that???!!!
Show business is a terrible place for a child. It's a snakepit of sexual abuse, greed, and corruption. Little wonder so many child actors grow up completely damaged. It'll keep happening until something changes.
Kids should get their full salary it should just be left in a savings account since if they weren't actors or actresses the parents would make their own money, unless the parents didn't have jobs, then I'd probably understand.
and i want to act an my parents dont let me -_-

Actually because Ben was seen so little in friends they only use cole
Ok this s just young actors their is no rules
If my kids really want to be actors I would be so overprotective.
The expenditures should be accounted for off the top, and only 10-20% of the proper profit should be allowed to be properly kept by the parents. Whatever is really needed for reasonable existence. But these fortunes being squandered? That’s some BS.
On friends, it was only Cole playing the role.. not because they couldn't use both the twins.. "Ben" just didn't have enough screentime for it to make sense..
Miley Cyrus has had a deep voice her entire life and identities as Pan Sexual, shes a dude bro.
Oof
Controlling children for acting should be outlawed. Adults should never control children to fulfill the adult's selfish desires.
Just noticed this… video still NOT in video!!!??? Confused!
In river dale when Cole sprouse played jughead was it just him or him and his twin
I thought it was illegal to work for children in USA
This is so sad!
so we not gonna talk about jack o'connell eating 400 calories a day for the role in unbroken
El asterisco de Zara
The character wasn't going to be called Kylie, it was Chloe.
I’ve always wanted to act (eve tho there are some dark sides) but my father won’t let me try so I have to wait until I turn 18
