  1. im soooooo happy she mentioned being light skin omg. i have so much respect. so many black women avoid even alluding to that

  2. For you guys talking about zendaya being biracial honestly being mixed is confusing and she doesn't have to say anything to appease you shes doing her own thing vibin and u pointing out that she isn't fully black won't change a thing if it matters to you that much get a life

  3. some of yall bout to be real mad at me, but it must be said

I FUCKING LOVE ZENDAYA! She is nothing but a leader and a strong women you deserves the word role model. Everything she said/says I can't agree more with and i'm happy she's using her platforms.

  4. What's Selena Doja Ariana Sofia Carson Ariana and Dove are like the only responsible and carring celebs the rest are there to be there.

  5. I wish Zendaya would start to refer to herself as biracial and not just "lightskinned" because that's not being totally honest about where her privilege comes from, which makes it harder to dismantle it.

That being said, I do appreciate that she doesn't take roles from dark skinned women, which speaks on how educated she is.

  6. She needs to get over herself, she has a track record of race baiting and playing the race card. Apparently she doesnt realize her mother is white, which makes her 50% white. She refers to herself as a black woman or light skinned, sorry you are biracial. Nothing like not acknowledging half of who you are to play the sympathy card.

  7. I will always respect her for saying she rejects acting roles that are clearly made for black/darkskinned women, because she doesn’t want her privilege to take away opportunities for black & darkskinned women. She’s a QUEEN👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿

  8. She does know she’s bi/interracial right… you know, equally black and white 😂

*no hate at all I like her, it just seems like she never addresses that or talks about or views herself in that way

  9. I grew up watching her on Disney. And i HONESTLY didnt know she was Black. Maybe because i was a kid? Didnt think about skincolor
